What helped me pick exterior colors was to use the Sherwin-Williams color snap visualizer app. Use it during the brightest part of the days you get really good color clarity. Even if you don't use Sherwin-Williams you can take the colors that it reports back, find the chips at Sherwin-Williams and then walk them over to your preferred brand.
