We're currently building a simple, elegant rectangle pool with grass surrounding it and some clean rectangle poured concrete pads on two sides for a modern spanish house. Trying to decide between 2.5" or 3" coping as our contractor said both are fine options. I don't love the look of chunky coping and want the pool to be understated but not cheap looking. What thickness would you recommend? Will 3" feel chunky?
