They used a clear adhesive which is why the seam appears as a medium gray, They should have entered your material into Integra Adhesive's color match chart for a recommendation. It would be more inconspicuous. These whites are notoriosly difficult to seam, especially when Bubba is eyeing up his own mix. I have difficulty and I'm really good at this.

While seaming is appropriate in certain circumstances this is not one of them. This should have been installed as a single piece. What do you think Joseph?

Seam placement and necessity is dictated by layout, design, and material dimensions. Fabricators, homeowners, and designers only get to pick their poison.

May I ask what the name of the quartz is?

Unless this is a very long counter that exceeds the typical maximum slab length, or the fabricator is offering a significant discount to a client in exchange for using scrap pieces of material, this would never happen on my job site nor for any client I am managing a job for. And even if, that seam is unacceptably noticeable. Also, any fabricator that would install like this in my realm would be discounted off all credibility and never used again. This quality of install should be universally unacceptable. However, these are only my opinions.

Can this seam be hidden better?

Well, it could hardly be hidden worse. Sorry, not helpful, but -- yeah -- I'd be talking to the installer.

When they measured for my quartz they discussed seam location. The extra cost of larger slab no seam. I would want this changed. It really looks bad sorry i know it sucks
