My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Just wanted to share

Bob and I have been really busy moving selects. One of the frustrations of hybridizing is that it seems as if a pretty face has a lousy plant and a so-so face has a great plant. Here is a seedling where it has all come together. It is our daughter's seedling Happy Teeth X Dental Delight. The seeds were gifted to her from Rich Howard of CT Daylilies in Connecticut. After 3 years, it is 8 fans and it reblooms. Here is Bob holding the plant. We are hoping it will be Elissa's first introduction in a few years.


Here is a picture of the flower.


On another note, we have enjoyed rain lilies so much that Bob sought out some other colors. Here are a few of them blooming. I am not sure about their names.

    Bob wouldn't be offended by the title of Mr. McGregor. He calls himself farmer John. He started wearing overalls in the garden by my suggestion because his pants were always falling down. He always asks if I'm embarrassed by him wearing then out in public (just hardware store and fast food places) and I tell him no. My grandfather wore overall all the time except on the rare occasion he had to wear a suit.
