removing nutsedge

Hi....had some patches of nutsedge on an otherwise magnificent lawn.....fried it with Ortho nutsege killer......now .have a few dead patches of dead brown nutsedge grass.


So...... do I dig it out and replant? or leave it alone and let the lawn mend itself naturally?
