It would be dramatic to get rid of the center post. The max length for Modern is 141" by 93" width. Triple glaze could be considered. You need structural professionals to help. I'd forego ventilation options for that wall.

If you're working with a licensed architect and not a draftsman, then tell him again what you want and ask for more solutions if it's not what you want.

Windows that tall and operable will give you issues. The deck will need to more than likely be completely rebuilt to carry the weight of it now being an exterior wall. You will need to use curtainwall with operable of vent awing or casement type windows inserted in my opinion.

My idea uses a pentagon window in the center 11'8" high by 7'9" wide max using the thin width fiberglass frame Modern product line from Marvin. With 3 segment rows that fits a 24 or so wide room. There are more specialized manufacturers who may offer larger sizes. Sedak is supplying large windows for Tesla's new factory in Austin.

Depending on the center height of your space you could run smaller opening windows across under the larger view windows.

I would start with a deck, framing and footing evaluation before adding more loads to the existing structure. I’m not sure how the roof is framed, but if that center post supports a roof load, it needs to transfer that load to a footing. It appears to be sitting on a cantilevered floor system right now. Placement and size of windows can change the floor and footing loads, it should all be engineered and designed together.

+1 on what Julie said ^ . in additon your post footings look iffy at best .
