Design-Build Contractors & Firms Near Fort Worth

“When we first thought about purchasing a fixer-upper, I was worried that I would be burning the midnight oil doing a lot of the renovations myself in addition to working a full time job. John accompanied us on a walk-through before we closed on the sale, and his years of experience plus can-do approach to what we wanted to change was relieving, and he was exactly the partner we needed for this home project. It gave us the confidence to close on the house and actually knock down those walls! This home was being designed to last our family a lifetime, so we needed a contractor who would treat the project like his own family's home. That's what we got! In addition, John was extremely reasonable in the way he honestly estimated the costs and design opportunities at every crossroads we came to. He made it feel like we were working with a friend. John obviously does this because he's good at it and likes it, not because he's building an empire and a big business. You will feel important (not passed off to anyone else), yet you will also have access to a well-connected all-around good guy. The vendors connected to Cornerstone were fun to work with whenever I would visit the job site. One of the worries I have historically had with construction workers or contractors is wondering how honest they are being with me. It can feel like a sales game out there! I have to say, that was never a feeling I had with John/Cornerstone. I always recommend John because he's like the "impossible to find HONEST contractor!" I'm so glad we had John's help orchestrating our home renovation. My neighbors have been working on the same type of renovation and it's taken them more than twice as long with the general contractor they used. Hats off to John and his vendors! I've recommended them to friends, and I even got the chance to see one of our friend's project after Cornerstone finished it last month. It looks incredible! Just as professional as our home! Reach out to him and you won't be disappointed with your outcome and experience along the way!”

“As an interior designer myself, I highly value the opportunity to collaborate, share, and support my fellow colleagues whenever I can because that is how we become better collectively. I can say with great appreciation that Ginger Curtis and her talented team at Urbanology Designs clearly shares the same feelings. Going into Kips Bay Dallas 2023, I knew I needed a strong local general contractor for a successful outcome in my space, Ginger put out right from the start that she was happy to help out of town designers so I contacted her immediately. Not only did she share a top notch GC, she also had a couple of her team members photograph and video our space prior to my first visit so we were not hampered by lack of proximity in seeing what we were working with to get started designing. I am grateful not only for the support, but for the friendship that has resulted.”

“So many positive words come to mind when thinking about how to describe the whole team at the Fred Parker Company. Kind, Thoughtful, Patient, Proactive, Diligent, First Class, Honest and many more that could fill this entire page! Ron is such a detail oriented professional that will walk alongside you throughout every single step of the project. Building or renovating a house can be overwhelming and stressful for just about anyone and Ron certainly understands that from his decades of experience so their approach to every project is to make sure you are comfortable with everything that is happening. His team treats their work as if it's their own homes that are being built or worked on. We also made the decision to hire Lila Parker as our interior decorator and we could not be happier with the results! No two clients are exactly the same and Lila has a great ability to adapt to whatever style each of her clients have. Everyone who comes to our house immediately asks who we worked with as interior decorator. Lila is amazing! We have grown to love the Parkers over the last two years and can not recommend them highly enough! To be honest, there is almost an element of sadness that the project is over now. Don't get me wrong, we are happy that the house is finished and we get to live here every day, but we thoroughly enjoyed working with the Parkers, which is not how most people that I know describe the contractors they have worked with. We purchased our home with the hopes that we would be able to accommodate our family of 6. My mentality was one of space planning and having enough of a back yard for our two labs to be able to run around. What we have now is so much more than I would have ever imagined! As soon as Ron walked in and began to cast vision, everything changed and now we have what can only be described as our dream home! Everyone that we know who has worked with Ron and Lila has raved about their experience, so we had high expectations when we decided to work with them. Well, they actually exceeded our expectations! If you are in the market for a new build or a renovation, look no further and call the Fred Parker Company immediately!”
