Yes, you can use it to water plants........although I like Ken's last idea much better :-) There is nothing in it that would be harmful - a very small amount of quinine, sometimes citrus flavoring and high fructose corn syrup or sugar.

@ken_adrian Adrian MI cold Z5 Thanks for the advice! I have some bottles already. I wouldn't go spend mone on it. As for mixing it with gin, my drinking days are past, but I always thought gin tasted like cologn anyway- Ha! Thanks for the link. These are some different sites than I found.

If you don't like gin and tonic, may I suggest a high-quality vodka?

You know I was wondering if tonic water would be good for growing mushrooms to give them the bioluminescence under UV light from the quinine. something I'm am working on just to say I did make bioluminescence shrooms.

If that's your goal, I'm pretty sure heavy involvement in the plant's genetics will be where you'll gain the most ground.
