How do I source this stand alone modular closet?

Do you think these are these freestanding armoires? I'd like this look but the closet companies tell me they can't do 9 foot doors as they will begin to warp. Any clue how to begin my search for these modular closets? My architect is clueless.

Consider using 90" tall IKEA "Sektion" kitchen pantry cabinets topped with IKEA "Sektion" 15" wall cabinets for a total cabinetry height of 105". You won't be able to have a single door top to bottom, but you might want drawers at the bottom anyway, as in this wardrobe project of ours (8' ceiling in this project):

Try a British company. They have wardrobes like that in the UK everywhere. Built ins they call them, floor to ceiling. They usually don't have walk in closets in their homes (some do who have seen them elsewhere).

My aunt who is in her late 80’s has something similar throughout her entire home in Southern California. Hers were all custom made and they’re shiny metal fronts. She’s from Luxembourg but moved here in 1969. Her entire home was of Scandinavian design. Hopefully you’ll find something similar.
I wished I had photos of her old home. It’s beautiful. Now she’s downsized into a very small place.

Pax wardrobes from Ikea and then have a carpenter do the finishing. They are sold worldwide and never warp.

I looked at IKEA wardrobes but I wasn't impressed by the doors. I was impressed by the quality of their kitchen doors however. I'm a little hesitant to buy from place like Contempo Space that kayozzy suggested (and Jan reiterated) sight unseen because of possibly being put off by the quality.

Following… Brit in LA here. I’ve just converted our walk in wardrobe into an office space. And flummoxed by the lack of stand alone wardrobe options over here. I guess everyone has walk in closets!!

I went to IKEA again to check out the wardrobe doors. Maybe I was a little harsh with my judgement of them the first time around. I could do two of these 60" wide set ups with solid and mirror doors. They are almost 8 feet high. I could fit a 24 cabinet above or just leave it open. I did my best with the photoshop. Luckily I have time to wait... EVERY single wardrobe cabinet at IKEA is sold out.
