I guess I need to see more of your interior furnishings to really commnet but I will say I do not like that trim around the door to me it is too thin I aslo have to say I love the closet doors but again not the trim around it . IMO the that trime wouldbe better not highlighted at all. The baseboards too are too small Insted of painting all that trim at huge cost I would be looking at rpalcing it with wider trim everywhere.. The font door can be different than the rest of the doors I happen to like double doors for entry with some glass and as for color I would need to see how the mahogany color works with the rest of your stuff. Are you planning on replacing the floor in the entry . Maybe post a couple of pics of the spaces around the entry .

Unfortunately, do not have funds to replace trim work with a wider trim, so opting to paint it white. Replacing all interior doors to white. Yes, replacing entry floor and rest of living room to this wood floor (photo attached). Have a brick house, here is pic of outside too. Thanks!

I had a stained front door with white trim and white interior doors for years. Just recently painted to brighten things up a bit.
