Usually you just have to WIPE water up.

What are you SCRUBBING with for hours?

This is a stain I was scrubbing. Of course I just wiped the water up..

Mega One takes 5 days to cure fully. But that doesn't look like it was even applied. I'd contact the finisher and Bona. 800-872-5515 Technical support.

You need to contact your finisher.

And stop scrubbing.

Do not scrub any more stains that may appear until your finisher comes back.

It's very odd that plain water would leave a stain like that. It looks like something spilled and was left there a while without being wiped up.

I used Mega on a garage sink counter and it did show some white clouding after leaving damp items on top, which went away after drying.

I was there for all the spills and they are water and were wiped up within 20 min.

Since you said you were scrubbing the stain (after you wiped up the water), what were you using to scrub with?

I was there for all the spills the top photo is the one I scrubbed, I used a microfiber cloth and bona wood cleaner

I mean floors should not do this with a small amount of water. These are a week and a half ok’d they should not stain like this with a small spill

I am so sorry this has happened to your floors and hope that your floor finisher will be able to address what has happened.

I was actually hoping you had used some crazy product to scrub out the stain. Your current condition would have then at least made sense!

They are now recommending that they resend the damaged areas and then redo the entire floor with traffic hd. I have no idea whether this would help and feel totally taken advantage of and ripped off. I have no trust in the flooring company and now have to move out for a third time so that they can try this fix. We are over 15k in with them and I have zero faith we won’t have to completely start over. I never want hardwood floors again, the whole industry is just terrible I don’t understand why people love them

Why? It doesn't appear they have been dishonest or are at fault and are making good faith efforts to fix the issue.

First because they've taken nearly three months to do a job that was supposed to take a week, we've had to spend over $4,000 in hotels just to continue to leave the house every time they have to come in and redo their mistakes. they are charging us over $6000 in product costs on top of the original quote that included stain and sealant. This has caused our entire reno to be behind three months and I have no faith that just throwing 3 more coats of sealant on top of the two that are already there are actually going to fix the problem. This was supposed to be a one week $7K job to fix water damage and has turned into three months and nearly 20K on top of all the stress and back and forth with a contractor who clearly has no clue what they are doing so I don't know who wouldn't feel taken advantage of in that situation.
