Can I develop lemons to handle zone6b outside in winter

The article I read implied that more commercial growers in Florida are considering Harvey lemon plants due to their slight hardiness advantage. Presently, ‘Bearss’ and ‘Eureka’ appear to be the leading varieties for Florida growers. But how to tell Harvey from other lemons, I have no idea. I think you'd have to contact the growers and find out if they are growing it and to whom they distribute it. Websites that sell Harvey are making claims of a zone 8A hardiness. That might be for the plants, but I doubt fruit can take down to 10 degrees (which is the about coldest one should expect in zone 8A). I don't even think a Harvey plant can take down to 10 degrees, honestly. Maybe upper teens?

They could  be part of my future breeding stock for the development for what I want  . I still believe it still could be developed  for what want  through selective breeding  apparently It can be done but like I said be fore but nobody ever said that it would be easy the Harvey Lemon developed on it

Howard. You can get a Harvey lemon tree from one green world and grow your own seeds.

 But I will need to wait until I get to Washington D.C first before I get them   so I can get better  access to them first

probably not in supermarkets anytime soon.
