Also how hardy is the rose you are propagating. What is it's name? I stuck a piece of Alberic Barbier in the ground in the Fall here and it grew, but you are colder there so I hope a baby rose can handle that. I'm with Ken. Any roots?

Yes and now it is even bigger, it got up on the shed and the plan is to propagate it to build a pergola on the fence that is perpendicular on the one you are seeing and then this new plant should grow like the one in the picture hopefully
