We painted our whole interior home a few years ago. We fixed all wall cracks, nail pops, sanded and primed these areas, washed and rinsed ceilings and walls. We used Behr Matte Ultra Scuff Defense Stain Blocking Paint and Primer, off white, for ceilings and walls, and satin, off white, for all doors and moldings. People always ask me what color “white” we used, as it came out great. It was so easy to apply, no issues. It looks good in various lights and at different times of the day. I have used SW and BM paints in the past, and I prefer Behr. I even got a 10% military discount at Home Depot ( as I am a retired US Air Force Captain).
