I don't think I'd put anything on that wall with the mirrored console. I'd put something on the the stair wall.

Where is the front door? In the second picture, are you standing at the door?

Maybe an oval ottoman covered in shearling?

I think you need more of a statement piece there. Something unique that wows. If you’d like a mirror there, it’d look fine. A large piece of art would look wonderful, too. Don’t let the wall pattern dictate anything you do — it’s background and anything you add will only enhance it, not detract from it.
