Are these defects normal?

1.5” sheetrock edge at top, .25” at the bottom

Pressurized tube coming out perpendicular and not behind, also with no shutoff valve

glass door colliding with room door

all water fixtures at different distances from the back wall, not in a straight line and tile color/texture differences.

Same sized doors but right doorway is about 1.5” higher than the other.

Vanity not cut correct size to fit inside the door molding.

Front door gate track sticking out over an inch (I tripped on it myself). Seems like a big safety hazard.

Toilet too close to wall.. would have to use sideways >_<

Are these reasonable things to expect the builder to fix?

I would not be happy about ANY of those things, but if he refuses to fix them, what are your options? What does your contract say about it?

Many of these should have been specified in the plans. What do your plans show?

Edit: the doors look to be the same. Again - what do the plans call for on door heights?

I'm no pro but some poor workmanship going on there, time to slam on the breaks. Shower tile wall may not be level that's why tile is sticking out further on one end vs other. Shower door was installed on wrong side, does it swing both ways? Tile in tub varied colors not acceptable, shower head looks too high and yes water handle/shower head are not aligned. Trim in tub should match black shower trim and not be chrome, unless you selected it. Toilet should have a shutoff. Why line put in side wall and not back? Easier for them?......Vanity is a mess I can't tell from the photo if that is standard depth vanity or did they not have proper depth drywall there. That is on them. You should speak with the builder ASAP and hoping this is the only room with issues like this they should address.

The builder is refusing to fix these things. Unfortunately I need to go thru with purchase because I have spent all year waiting for it and missed out on other properties and prices have increased significantly. The door I am thinking will need a sliding door to replace, hopefully recessed is possible.

There have been tons of workmanship issues thru the property and delays (supposed to be completed in May)

I just wanted to ask to see if you all agree these are legitimate issues and I am not being irrational for expecting these things to be fixed.

The shower wall must be plumb for the door jamb to fit; the other wall not so much. I don't have my code book in front of me, but I'm sure you need a shutoff valve at the toilet. The doors hitting seems like a design/specification problem. The mismatched tile is slightly bothersome as are the misaligned fixtures and valves. The cabinet doesn't fit adjacent the casing so there's no way the countertop and overhang can. The front door gate track seems to be a design/specification issue also. The toilet looks out of code to the wall.
