Dining room by the window?

last modified: 5 years ago

This is my first time positing for hopefully this is the right place to ask this! I have a fairly long condo that has a U shaped kitchen and then space for a dining table and then a living room and floor to ceiling windows. I was wondeirng if anyone has put the dining table by the window instead? So I would have the kitchen bar, then living room and then a dining room. It's a little odd to have a bar and then a dining table and reversing it would mean that guests can look straight ahead to watch the tv rather than seeing it at a angle. But I can't seem to find any pictures online of this layout. Thanks!

ETA - Here is a design picture. Basically on the left you have the window (two to be precieise) and the wall across from the couch has a entrace to the bedroom and beside it is where the TV would go (which is right across the dining table in the current layout). The left white dash line is the bar of the kitchen. So basically I wanted to switch this, you get the living room first and then the dining room by the window on the left.
