What "pink stuff"? Have you tried a spray cleaner like 409 and a sponge?

It's really difficult to tell in the photos what the problem is? Are they just dirty from age or stained or greasy or what?

409 works well if you can find it. It's been difficult to find since the pandemic started. I would have started with Dawn (the regular blue stuff) and warm water. Rinse it down. It should get rid of any grease.

Another product I frequently recommend is Dirtex. It comes in a powder or spray. I use the powder because it's less expensive. A painter recommended it to me years ago for walls and painted wood work. I personally prefer it over TSP.

What is the problem with them? What are you trying to clean? I notice they seem yellower than other whites in the room. That is probably due to the actual type of paint finish (e.g. enamel, oil). Can't change that with any "cleaning".

After that many years, they may be due for a paint refresh.
