This photo came from an earlier Houzz post and they used SW Keystone Grey on the siding, garage doors & gable and SW Agreeable Grey for the soffits, gutters and trim to compliment their pink brick. They also used a wood tone front door. As far as color, you could consider painting all the windows (trim & siding) a white (SW Snowbound is suggested as a good match but always bring home samples to test) that would coordinate with SW Agreeable Grey which you could use on your front door and garage door. Or you could try the SW pearly white below with the keystone grey for the doors. Which ever one looks best with both your brick and your front step stone color.

On the house below they used the SW Keystone Grey for the shutters and SW Pearly White for the rest.

maybe horizontal lap siding on our dormers instead of shingles? The board and batten feels more disjointed however.

A simple square panel trim on the bottom of your bay windows would tie into your garage door and the whole bay is typically one color as the architecture of the window is a design in and of itself.

I agree with the above regarding the bay windows. The bottom portion should be white.

For the dormers you can try to have the shingles brought back to light wood. And then stain it any color you like.

But if you have the time and budget I might extend the porch a bit and maybe add some posts...

Agree with decoenthusiaste. Do stain the brick -- don't paint it .

Do at least consider colors other than dark brown though. If your house is all dark brown -- roof and brick siding and your trim white, that is a stark contrast that will emphasis the dark brown home. Do you want a dark brown home? It's always best to know the available options and make informed decisions. Different companies will have different stain colors.

If you don't want the red cedar wood look for your dormers, you could paint your dormer shingles white rather than adding stain color.

I agree with Sue bell, be careful of too much brown given your roof is so prominent.

don’t paint all the wood white. Paint it a sage green or clay color. I like the idea of recladding the bottom of your bay windows in cedar. I like your doors but would paint them another color, and decide that after you’ve made all the other changes.

Get rid of the urns, wall planters, tree stump and other decor that isn’t really in keeping with the look of the house.

Make very modest permanent changes because your house is really basically attractive as it is, even with its varying coloring in the brick and cedar. You could easily deaden the look of the house into something plastic and lacking personality — which is the end result of a ltot of design advice, which is premised on stamping out everything that doesn’t look this year’s store bought and more-like-your-neighbors
