I hate bench seating at any dining table so that would turn me off to start. Really what you have is a modern redition of a table with leaves . I would need to see your space and have more info as to the reason for wanting this .I have a glass expanding table that where the leaves are extended it seats 12 and 6 on a daily basis no bench for sure . I think that table looks great but IMO needs a really huge space since it is a very heavy looking piece
