I am not a lover of Miele appliances and for sure not all matching ones. But I also do not like panel ready appliances . IMO SZ is over rated and way over priced but if that is what you want I would wait to get it . I have Fridgedaire all fridge all freezer columns with builtin kit they are 14 yrs old cost me less that 4K and not one issue I figure when they die they owe me nothing and I replace them and still come out cheaper than a SZ .I do believe in staying in the mid range for appliances and really think of how you cook and store food. before purchasing I steer my clients away from over priced over rated appliances and the other thing is the service where you live. As for keeping food longer honestly in a country where there is a grocery store on every corner why not save the money and shop more often.

this one looks like it was made by Miele (or at least the shared factory with others) , not a rebadged Liebherr as the 36 is now. The Miele version has a long history so I would look at reviews for that and then go from there. Not all the cabinet cutouts for different refrigerators are the same so make sure thgat whatever you get fits the design

no need to buy all appliances from one mfg. They do some things well and others are just ok. I have the wall ovens from Miele and they are excellent

Avoid Miele Mastercool. I got exactly this model KF2982Vi Delivered New with faulty door. the door gets stuck when closing and needs a hard push or slam to close. Miele refursed to acknolwedge this as defect and refused to fix it. The product is clearly faulty as the fridge in showroom does not have this problem at all. You are going to get poor quality and no warranty honour after purchase. Avoid Miele at all costs if you don't want defects from brand new.
