Good morning everyone, I'm new around here, so I'm sorry if I make a mistake.

A month and a half ago they gave me a wonderful Kentia. I found him a good place at home but since he arrived he has only gotten worse. At first I thought it was because of the acclimatization of the plant to its new home, which of course is not as ideal as the nursery it came from. But after this period it does not seem to improve.

It all started with some leaves drying, 3 in total, one at the bottom, which I thought would be the oldest, and another 2 at mid-height. I did not give it much importance and when they were completely dry, 4 days ago, I cut them at the base of the branch. On the other hand, since it arrived the tips dry up and some leaves crack, appearing small cracks and holes, but I suppose it will be due to the humidity (Madrid is very dry). That is why I started to vaporize water on it almost daily.

The pot and soil is the one it came with, since I have read that they do not like repotting very much and it seems that the soil drains well. It is in a place where there is enough light but it is not direct light, the windows are almost North. I water it approximately once a week, when I see that the soil is dry, pouring water until I see that it comes out from the bottom but without leaving any accumulated water at the bottom of the pot. I think I left the soil dry too long at the begining, but it was time ago.

My concern is that I see that one of the largest leaves is turning yellow, the stem especially, and I see that it is going to dry out completely and fall. It belongs to the same "group" as one of those that dried up recently, and looking at the base of the trunk I have seen some white spots, it looks like mold. The earth is still wet because I watered the day before yesterday.

In addition, on some branches, especially the large ones, there are a series of small brown dots that accumulate near the leaves, and if I scratch with my finger they remove and remain on the finger as a kind of grit / dust.

It should be noted that when he got home he already had about 2 or 3 "trunks" cut off, and a leaf with the tips cut off, the first one that dried.
