I have solar shades in both of my homes, & love them. I forget what % they are but they don’t completely obstruct the views, but I only lower them in the afternoon on my west facing windows. I have 20’ of them on a wall of glass in my Palm Springs home, no problem with fading on my furniture & art. I also lower them when I’m away for a few days or longer. Mine are on hardwired remotes.

I’ll try to find the paperwork, I ordered them from an independent shade store in the desert.

We have Hunter Douglas Designer Screen Shades and love them. There is a range of fabric opacities (very sheer to more opaque), and you can add privacy or blackout shades behind them if desired.
