You sure need a rug or a carpet,geometrically design,preferably Turkish,try to find a sort which are wider in widness

I would definitely put down something warm and thick, silver doesn't sound bad at all. Consider a shape like a round or a large oval. Or consider the attached Mission Arts and Craft type of a rug from Shaw. We can help you with a custom rug as well possibly a border rug or geometric design. Aquamarine and Sable Brown would pop.

Agreed, an area rug would help soften the color and wood flooring in the room.

I moved the chairs..... After I thought about it....we don't even use that TV that's in the cabinet ! Love, love love the new arrangement ! I also like the Gramercy rug and now think that the size of it would look better with the new arrangement !

Amazing transformation in a short time! Congratulations! Just wanted to add that if you get an even larger size of the same area rug where more floor space is covered and most of the chairs are sitting on it, it would look even more amazing, especially from an aerial view.

Add 8x10 have a small border in front of sofa. Add color.

bellesum: I like the size of the rug because I can easily take it up. I am a cleanie, I use an irobot Scooba to mop my hardwood floors and this is going to work fine! Thanks again! :-)
