Here are a couple of bathroom ceilings that we installed. Our specialty is stretch ceilings. Don't worry if you've never heard of them, it's a pretty new thing in North America. I personally get dizzy when I paint ceilings, so this is a perfect solution, as we install for you, and if shiny is what you want, you can get a lot more gloss with a stretched ceiling than with metallic paint, as you're not dealing with the imperfections in the drywall or plaster underneath. If you do decide to go with paint after all, choose one that is water based and VOC free, like Benjamin Moore Natura ( http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-ca/for-your-home/paint-products/benjamin-moore-natura-waterborne-interior-paint?lang=en_CA&role=H#advs=0&tab=2) to cut down on the likelihood of falling off the ladder! (PS: Our material is also VOC free!)
