I didn't realize Breck's was available in Canada and the U.S I see what you mean about the price. That is disappointing. Great for anyone else who wants one now.

I see that there are some differences in the catalogue (for hosta) between the Canadian version and the U.S. version. Everything looks so good---tempting.

How is your hosta doing Gary?

I have one potted and one in the garden that I just moved last Spring. The potted one is doing great and needs to be divided this Spring while the one one in the garden is still deciding on whether or not it likes its new spot. As for Breck's quality on items I would give them about a 75% on quality rating because of plant size that is shipped etc.

Well it sounds like you've had pretty good success with your plant Gary! Some day you might be willing to post a picture? Maybe since you're having success with the potted one, the one in the ground should be potted too? Some hosta are finicky like that. For the price you paid, they both should be growing well!

Thanks for your rating of Breck's. They always seem to have something in that catalogue that calls out your name. I do try to buy plants in garden nurseries, but it seems to be getting increasingly difficult to find what is on my wish list. The pictures in those catalogues are so beautiful that it is hard to resist.
