Those are big for Mexican limes! How many do you grow in pots vs. in the ground?

Thank you all for the cudos. The Mexican Limes have never been this large. They are soooo good when ripe.

The only citrus in a pot is the Meyer; the lemon, lime, and kumquat are all in the ground.

Dave, from your other post: your key limes aren't all that small either.

Kate, would that be Bay Laurel? ;-) We have one too. Your Meyer looks great. We had one when we bought this house. It was ub the ground and small. It didn't make it but our Eureka lemon tree is prolific. No lime or orange trees but we have an avocado.

Yes, an oops..... Bay Laural. It wants to be a tree and I keep it pruned small too. It is in a pot. I keep the relatives' pantries stocked with dried Bay every Fall.

It's one of the best potted Lemons. But in ground? They are not easy. You must water them much more than other lemon types that grow like weeds- yards with lemons all over the ground. Not dwarf Meyer. I doubt they ever get drought tolerant even with mulch.

Wow what a fruit cluster! grapefruit? i noticed the tree has a tag on it of some kind. is that a requirement in CA because of disease problems?

What a perfect tree!

Naval orange with sticky trap is over 60 years old and has lost over 4 big trunks in its time.
