Think about lowering them and reverse the angle so they dip down toward your sofa. They'll look more like angel wings and less like a mustache. Once you've done that you can leave the blank portion of your wall empty or add a round convex mirror in a dark frame. If you're energetic you could think about painting that wall a little stronger color. In the picture it looks like the wall is light Blue...........?

Thanks Jeffery. I rehung the wings vertical and closer together. I wish I could paint the walls, they are the standard apartment white. Now to find some mirrors or art for each side of the wings.

How about framing the wings on to a canvas that is painted a bright color that matches other things in your living room and add a dark brown, dark grey or black wooden frame around it all. That would fill up the space over the couch...

Thanks y'all. Unfortuatly there is no way to hang them that way due to the way they are built on the back. I will see if I can rig something up.

A small sunburst mirror. I would lower the wings so tip is 12" from top of sofa then mirror in center.

Never underestimate the power of industrial strength velcro to hold things onto walls. Then you can place at any angle. Just be sure to use just a little and press on to the wall lightly (can pull off paint!).

It looks like they are wood. If that's correct you should be able to do this without a lot of hassle. Cut two 4" long pieces of pine 1x2. Glue these with Liquid Nails to a spot centered to the back of the wings. Let the glue dry overnight. Attach two picture hangers, one to each wood block. (The hangers are the type that are an inch or two long metal bars with a saw tooth edge.) Now two small picture hooks spread about 1" apart are nailed onto the wall....two per wing. Lower the wings onto the hooks so they catch the saw tooth cleats.
The thing you'll want to double check before you glue the blocks to the back of the wings is that you glue the blocks at the angle you want to reach when the wings are hung up to get your "V" shape.

You could also just attach two screw in "eye" hooks at the correct angle to the back of each wing. Then add hooks to the wall to match the position.
