It's just a bit over 9' tall. 5* is a very vigorous citrumelo descending from Swingle citrumelo.

Wow. That is pretty amazing. ive never had fruit that fast on a seed grown citrus, but one of these poncirus seedlings in this pic bloomed this summer for me, which i was shocked about. Just nature letting us know we aint figured it out yet I guess..

It's supposedly a seedling from Swingle that has slightly improved eating quality (though still bad and not very edible). It appears to be more popular in Europe.

I suspect Dunstan may still be better eating quality though (which was a sibling of Swingle citrumelo).

I opened the first segentrange fruit today. Poncirus taste was apparent, but not overwhelming in my opinion, although I may have considerable bias. My son's comment was " there's sweetness". The size is very small, maybe due to being a "June bloom".

This tree is deciduous and among the hardier survivors, though not the very hardiest.

The fruit peels easier than Poncirus.

Seeds apparently are partially polyembryonic.

Small, late season fruits show deeper color than Poncirus.
