I'm leaning towards either all black or all white exterior.  Maybe light wood posts.

keep in mind an all black exterior will COOK in the sun.

Our neighbor built a white house with the attached garage black…it feels unfinished, like they only got as far as the tar paper….

Congratulations on your new to you home. I love the exterior just like it is, and wouldnt change a thing. If paint needs refreshing, then I would use the same paint that is on there now. I love black windows, but, I dont think they would look all that great on your house. Its a very cute house. Leave it and enjoy it, and dont make any major changes, (unless something is falling apart) for 6 months or so. You are excited now, because of new house, and decisions you make right now, may not be the right decisions for your house, once you have lived in it for a while.

I'm going for the modern farmhouse look.   I really want black windows.  I want to change the colour.  Any suggestions?

Is anyone available to do a mock up of white with cedar posts and white garage door?  Here are my inspiration pictures.    Thx
