No. Gutters are utilitarian, not design features. You don’t need to call attention to them.

Those light fixtures could use some attention, though. They seem oddly placed. And they could be black. edited to add: I just enlarged the picture and see the lights ARE black. Why are they so high?

Can you step back and take a picture that includes the roof?

And the step railings?

IMO no bringing attention to gutters and IMO the soffits are maybe better done in a color close to the brick. I agree the lights seem too high

A few years ago, I bought this house and it originally had white light fixtures in the same area- way above the front door. This picture shows the new light fixtures. They replaced the old white Iight fixtures that were in the same spot. If i move these light fixtures lower and closer to the door, it will leave and show holes in original spot of the bricks. I don't think that is good idea and we all know it's not easy to match and replace bricks. Any other suggestions?

Thank you Hallett! This was very helpful! I was also considering changing the roof to black as well. It's currently a dark gray. I don't really understand why its a dark gray because since its a beige house. The only thing that comes to mind is whether the roof was originally black and it faded to a dark gray color.

I would paint the railings, so they are black too. I actually dont mind that the gutters etc are white, but, yes, I would much prefer them to be black. I love the look of Hallett & Co home above.

CAT_KY the hand railings are already black. Didn't want to paint the spindles, post, and base black because it might need a little contrast.
