Best to check with the suppliers. Most are low voltage wire. Somewhat akin to what would be used for a doorbell.

My understanding is many motorized treatments are battery driven - just make sure the ones you buy are the rechargeable kind. Also nice if the remote has a few 'favorite' settings, like for top down-bottom up to go to a specific point.
