I think white subway would be a nice neutral backsplash to go with your more exciting floor tile. I love the color palette in the tile, but I think you are smart to go with something more simple for the splash.

I agree. And match the grout to the tile to keep it subdued.

I love the tile you’ve chosen! I have something similar and chose a plain neutral tile with matching grout. The “fun” tiles really pop and having a plain tile (white subway with white grout) complements rather than competes. Well done on the tile choice!

White subway is fine. Be careful which white and out the two tiles side by side in the actual kitchen to make sure their undertones and the cabinet undertones are the same.

Those tiles are square so I would use the same size and shape tile in a solid. I do not see white in that floor; I suggest something that matches the background color of that flooring. Good luck!

IMO we need to see the rest of the space at least the cabinet choice and counter . I like the tiles but they do creat issues for counter and backsplash.

Nothing but the floor and white farmhouse sink has been bought. My floor tiles are 17 x17 and my backspalsh area is 18 inches high so matching square size wouldnt work. i have picke out a simple white quartz countertop. Heres the inspiration for cabinet. i love color!

If possible I might use a glass subway shape tile in the blue if you can find on e that matches the blue in the cabinets ot the floor and use matching grout .

White subway tiles are fine, match to the white of your chosen counter.

If your kitchen cabinets are that gorgeous blue, and your floor is that unique tile, your backsplash needs to be simple, and not compete. It’s usually a better idea to do the whole kitchen, including lighting, before making a backsplash decision. The color of the tile choices will look different when the room is done. No matter what samples you try, you shouldn’t buy a whole order. I think white will be too stark, but it’s anyone’s guess at this point.
I CAN say that this will be a unique, colorful kitchen! You must keep us posted. The floor tiles are going to make that room.

The subway tile should match the white in the floor tile. What is the counter material?
It also needs to be considered. Bring samples home to see in your actual kitchen with your lighting.

If you're worried about the subway pattern being too busy, I think you'll be fine. Just make sure it's the right shade of course. But sure you sure you want something as boring as white with all those great colors to pick from? :)

If you're using those "busy" floor tiles, keep your backsplash one color from within the floor tiles -- suggest what appears to be a pale gray? or pale blue? or use all white.

I love your color choices. I think I would use the light gray from the floor in a subway tile for the backsplash. Post when it is complete.

You may want to use the Zellige tile (a clay mor organic tile) that will tie in with the little squares of your beautiful time. As for grout I would stay with the neutral white😀

Find a whit close or exact of the white in your 17x17 tile. 
Wondering if you have space behind your stove that you could center 1 of your floor tiles as a backslash.

Usually it’s best to wait on the backsplash. Once your kitchen is installed, AND the lighting (!) you will have a better chance of choosing the right backsplash. So many good ideas here, but the reality of what your kitchen looks like with the first couple of choices may change what you now think will work. Probably a white tile, maybe a gray?? Who knows. You’ve got a great start to a unique kitchen but don’t buy more,than sample tiles for the backsplash at this stage.

Y’all are the best! I didnt expect so much input. Im just a SAH Mom trying to pull together a kitchen I will love walking into. side note: i dropped one package of tiles (63 lbs) on my foot trying to unload. i wouldn’t recommend that to anyone lol! I had already considered trying to match the blue/gray bottom cabinet color to a tile for the backsplash. love the idea but it seems to be difficult to find a match. I will take all the suggestions to heart! If anyone knows of a specific tile to match my blue cabinet, please post. I will post updates and pictures here as we go along. Thanks!!
