Our house has a path from driveway to front door but also breaks into a 2nd entrance, into a breeze way that connects garage and kitchen. We closed out the breezeway and bumped it out to become a mudroom. Entry door is now window. The question is how to redo the garden so that once the 2nd pathway is removed, that space looks nice and doesnt look odd. It's a good size about 12 ft long by 8 ft wide. I currently have flowers along the pathway. I thought of adding stepping stones and a bench but that will never get used, more decorative than anything.
