We just moved in this house a few months ago. This is a bonus room about the garage. I’m trying to think of what to do with it. We already have enough bedrooms, living room, family room and working to finish the basement now which will have an office in there. So I’m trying to come up with something fun and different to use this space for.

I was even thinking a bar/pub type theme but would also like it for overnight guests just in case. So not necessarily a guest room but incorporate a place someone can sleep for the night.

The room has 3 parts. The back part is more storage, in front of the fireplace is about 13x10 of floor space. Not including the part by the door or fireplace. The back part is about 11x6. Any ideas are helpful. We also have to figure out heating and cooling for this room, aside from the fireplace. We were thinking a mini split or if anyone knows of a good space heater for now. Thanks.
