I have a new leaf blower and I'm trying to use it to clear leaves, but it's difficult to control.

I was able to clear away about 50% of the leaves and the rest are out of control going everywhere, getting jammed into corners or sticking in the rocks.

What is the trick to get leaves out of rocks and then push the leaves in the desired direction so I can blow them under a wooden gate to the front yard?

Even if I opened the gate instead of trying to blow the leaves under the gap, the flow of air and leaves isn't controlled enough to do that.
