Linette. Very pretty entry. The wall on the left coming in the front door looks like hood spot for something interesting. Your front doors are quite ornate and beautiful so I see a blend of that with touches of modern farmhouse. You have to keep airflow to the cold air return so I would find a more interesting table as shown in this photo. Layering items on the console would look lovely. Then add runner and don’t worry about tile floor too much. Distract from it by selecting wonderful pieces and complimentary runner and no one will remember what the floor was!

Will your front door clear a thin rug? You might just need a 6’-8’ wide by 3’ for right in front of entry door.

Is width the 6’? Does hall run through entry. Need more info to size and place rug. I would also consider painting inside (possibly outside too) of the entry doors glossy SW Tricorn Black.

See if this is accurate drawing. Each square is equal to 1 Sq. Ft. 12’ long x 6’ wide. If this is right, you could do a rug that is 8’ long x 4’ wide. Then still fit a curved little bench and end of space console table with decor. A flush ceiling light that is consistent with the decor items you pick, would be nice. You could do 48-50” long x 12-18” Deep console table. See if this fits your thinking.

World Market has some great console tables. Here’s one I love and have used several times. It’s pretty long though so you might not be able to use it given the hallways. Might check Target too. Round mirrors are pretty but it depends on what table you like. Since this mirror will be facing front door, that’s what it will reflect most of the time. Would a nice piece of art introduce your home better?

Flo- yes that is an accurate drawing of entryway! I think I am going to buy a bigger console table seems like the one I have is a little too short.

Is this a new home? Whoever did the tile work did a shoddy job. Door to left in the entry...what's going on there? I see tile from another room. Before you invest in furniture, think about a rug. It will disguise mistakes and warm up the space. Depending on the style you choose, it will also give you inspiration on how what else you want in the area.

Consider two rugs and rather than a mirror add some wood into the mix.
