You have a lot of items to avoid if you're trying to place this on the wall next to the door. How wide if the wall for the console?

You have to either find a narrow mirror or mount it to the left to avoid the thermostat.

No way to place a lamp other than a buffet light on the console.

Most Willow Baskets will be too wide to fit beneath the narrow console.

You might want to find a console with a bottom shelf so you can arrange objects on that to diminish the effect of the air return.

I don't see an outlet on that wall, so the lamp will just be for decor?

The console table cannot be placed on that wall where the thermostat is located-not wide enough.

Jan- I wanted a light fixture something similar to the pictures you posted but unfortunately the ceiling is way to low. So I went with something more simple and modern-ish
Maybe a different mounted light fixture?
