This is my living room ( will be repainted to off white) so you have idea about the rest of the house

Just changing the walls to a white will go far in updating you space! Really bad mock up on the BM phone app but the cabinets look fresher next to winds breath!

Can you bring the wood from you entry floors into the kitchen?

why not wait and re evaluate when painting is done. there's quite an area to paint and it will change things. For an interior kitchen first thing would be address the lighting. Cant see that entirely. Other things like lighter counters/tile backsplash w sheen/ some glass doors on cabs. I'd do other things before painting the cabs. You want light and reflectivity and surfaces that bounce the best light you can create. Counters and splash comes to mind as areas of potential. I'd leave the cabinets w the cordovan color. I like it and would work with it.

I do plan to wait until house will be repainted next month. Just getting ideas what to do with kitchen. My friend/ broker ( I am not selling house) gave me similar idea: keep cabinets as they are but change countertop to quartz ( white/ whitish)
