Thanks Patricia. Yes, the room in the photo also has 4-5 table lamps / reading lamps, as well as a dropped pendant for the dining table. I will look into the brand you suggest.

Tech lighting, WAC lighting, Nora lighting (for track), that said although I am not a fan of Kable lighting, it would give you the option to shine some up and some down from the same run.

you may be able to use the current holes in the ceiling and just switch them to pendants (with sloped ceiling adjustment)

this one has about 16 spotlights for uplighting directly on the beam/truss.

have you considered accenting your trusses w/the metal connectors?

Nora lighting carries both Juno and Halo, the only difference between the two is how they connect to the track, as far as clipping in. Have you thought just to try different bulbs in what is already there?

RL, the original photo I posted is not my house - it’s an architect’s summer house in Maine. My house is currently less glamorous, but I would love for it to end up more like his. 😁 Here is my current lighting - ancient track lighting, brand unknown.

ok, so are you going to try to move the track to the top side of the beam or leave it where it is, Halo, and Juno both require their own style of track btw, so if you plan to just reuse this track that will be important. That track looks like it is romex fed at the ends, so moving it maybe more work, as far as power supply goes.

long story short you could just replace the heads themselves.
