Flooring Design Dilemma

Which way to run a 57 inch large plank tile floor?

We have decided to install a 57 x 12 inch tile plank in most of the house. I am so confused about which way to install the boards. One installer said run it east to west. Another said that because of the light coming in from the north and south windows he would run it north to south to avoid lippage shadows. I have attached a copy of the blueprint of the house. The x's indicate the rooms we are not doing.

This is on a concrete slab. Any and all advice is welcome.

IMO you need a really good tiler with that size plank. Is this wood look tile ? IMO you will fool no one but lippage is going to be an issue with that size tile so a real pro you will need to avoid that. You will also have to make sure that slab is perfectly flat and level. What flooring is in there now? Do you already have the tile ? The bluepringt really does not help at all.

Thats way too large proportionately. $50 a square trouble.

We were also thinking of a large plank tile as well for our ranch style home. How did your project turn out? Did you decide to go with that size plank? or a smaller version.
