My family says I'm cheap. I call it frugal and creative. My daughter lived with me for awhile and left her bedroom furniture. I've been wanting to get rid of the bedroom set for quite awhile.

I used the nightstand drawers to make compost screens.

One is 1/2" and one is 1/4" screen. Everything I used I already had. I've used them for both compost and to screen pine bark to make potting mix per Tapla recipe. Worked great! Now of course I have to keep them in the shed, but I would do that anyway.

Thinking about using the dresser drawer wood to make temporary roosting boxes for the bluebirds. Last year during that unusually long cold snap, we found 4 dead bluebirds. Would love to avoid that again!
