Yes, but you would have to measure the two year old at the critical points of the pattern - arm width and length, body width at chest and hips, body length, neck size, leg width and length etc and redraw the pattern accordingly.

What pattern piece are you showing here? What does "A Body" mean? How many pattern pieces are there to this design?

I assume this is a costume in which the boy will be "wearing" a huge baseball rather than a baseball uniform.

I'm having a hard time visualizing this pattern piece on a person. Can you show the other pieces?

I would definitely want to have the boy there for a fitting when the pattern pieces are adjusted. You might want to do the pattern pieces in muslin rather than in paper, although you could start with paper. I think the inner part of the costume will have to be adjusted differently from the outer (baseball) part of the costume.

Lars--I too want the boys here to adjust the pattern. Unfortunately they live in N.Y. & I am in a suburb of Chicago. I miss seeing them all the time.

This is the 'body' piece 'A'. As opposed to 'sleeve' piece 'B'. Instructions are to cut 6 of 'A' and sew together, add drawstring at the top, slits for arms, hem bottom, and draw on stitching. Should be easy peasy except I want to make a smaller size. If you look at the left side of the sideways photo there is a picture from the pattern sleeve. I made a baseball from the larger "A" and it really is a ball shape when stuffed with tissue or newspaper.

I always have newspaper laying around just in case I want to trace things such as pattern pieces.

I would make a new pattern proportional to height, except slightly larger, as the youngest boy will have proportionally shorter legs.

If you post the heights of the pattern pieces you have and the heights of the three boys, I could give you something more specific. Also, if you have their inseam measurements, that would be helpful. The height from the necks to the floor would also be helpful. The youngest one will have a proportionally larger head.

This will not have to fit all that well, however. You will need to make sure that the neck opening on the smallest one is sufficient.
