KSWL - time for another update

Aren't you heading out-of-town? I can't remember when. I looked for your last update but cannot find it and when I searched it took me back to 2010!!! So, here I am again, wondering how your husband (and you) are doing. Keeping you both in my prayers.

PS did your mom get moved and settled?

Note to self: Collect bail money for KSWL.

Glad to hear things are going well. Continued thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, Tina, for starting this thread.

KSWL, good to hear you are happy with DH's course of treatment. Hope he is able to rest.

As for cable companies, I will see you a cable company and raise your one health insurer. The latter left my daughter uninsured because they typed in an effective date of 2031 instead of 2021.

Glad to see a good update, thinking of you all, Kswl. Thanks, Tina.

Re: cable … when we moved here, we were told by our old cable co that switching would be quick and effortless. Get here, call for hook-up, days later guy comes over and says they don’t service our side of the street. We’re in the city, not out in the country, and it’s 2021, are you kidding me? Nope, sorry, lady. :D We have ATT now, and it’s been better than our old one.

Anyway, continued good wishes, I hope 2022 brings healing and good health to you and yours. ❤️

So glad to see a good update!

Geez, mtn, I thought it was bad that they had my BD wrong!! At least I had insurance….just had to figure out when I was born!

As far as ATT, that is the ONLY CSR I ever yelled at, and it was a scream. After 5 YEARS of service, with a paper bill being mailed to the same address in KY, and having spent 14 hours in ONE week on the phone trying to figure out why I had such negligable signal, the CST told me, “I see you are pinging off the (Texas) tower”. Well, that would explain it. Cancelled them.

    Lots of hugs!!

Sending healing thoughts for your husband. Hope all your issues with Comcast and ATT resolve quickly.

Understand the insurance frustration. We migrated from one insurance plan to another effective 12/1/21. We were not in the new carriers system until 12/17/21, not so good when you need treatment and RX. Then found out we had to switch pharmacies, DH still having RX issues. Should have just stayed with our prior carrier.

About Comcast and ATT: I discovered that my little voice needed amplification, so I contacted my Supervisor's office. They contacted the county person who deals full time with telecom issues. He went directly to the Corp. VP in charge of resolving problems with the county that grants them their license to operate. Problem settled quickly and correctly. I encourage you to contact your elected officials. That's what they are there for.
