Bathroom Vanity Issue

Hi all,

We bought two identical vanities for a master bath remodel. They are Ove Decors, came from Walmart. One of them arrived with the top completely cracked in half, so we had to have the entire vanity replaced, Ove Decors said they do not do replacement tops unless it's 72 inches, these are 48. The replacement just arrived, and I unpacked it to make sure it wasn't damaged. Everything seemed fine. After about an hour, I went back over to clean the top off, and noticed that it isn't exactly the same as the other one. The original vanities had some sparkly flecks in the white top, the replacement does not.

Is this something you would go to the trouble of exchanging again? My husband says no, but I worry that when the vanity lights are on the difference could be noticeable with the sparkle. I'm definitely more of a perfectionist, so I am annoyed. But I agree with my husband that the trouble of setting up the exchange and unpacking yet another vanity is probably not worth it. It just stinks to spend that kind of money and have them not match.

Has anyone else dealt with this? It's one of those things that, now that I've seen it, I can't not see it. But I can live with it as long as other people wouldn't notice since this is not our forever home.

TIA for any feedback.
