My husband is handy and wants to do the work (I think its time for a professional) to remove the tile and retile of our tiny upstairs 1970's master bath. We want to raise the ceiling on the small shower, push out the wall to make the shower larger and replace the outside shower wall with glass.
Questions:
1. Do you think this scope is outside of a first time DIYer on bathrooms?
2. I want to use a 4"x8" marble tile. I have heard and note by the higher price of professional installation that natural stone is harder to install. Should we stick to ceramic?
