Bluestar is the only ones out there without the complicated electrical that end up failing. It’s based on the old Garland commercial ranges, like Julia Child owned. And they try to keep them as simple as possible.

Five Star also makes uncomplicated ranges, including dual fuel. They’re more obscure than Bluestar, but the one i put in the my previous house back in 1998 is still going strong. I spoke with a local repair shop before considering one again and the technician says he works on one or two a year and they’re easy to fix and reliable.
