Kitchen flooring

I'm all over the place with kitchen and my indecisiveness. Previous feedback made me second guess the the countertop and I'm glad because I like the new house better. It's bright and more modern. Now I need to make a final decision on the floor. Backsplash will be next. I have 3 coffee for the floor. 2 are porcelain and 1 is luxury waterproof vinyl that's double the price of the the porcelain floor. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. How durable is the vinyl flooring. My kitchen is now part of an open concept. So I can do all vinyl on the first floor but it's pricey. Or I can do porcelain tile on the kitchen and basic vinyl for the living and dining room. Floor will be purchased in the next couple of days. Help
I have grey cabinets this picture is from the website. The final decision is the white quartz on the right with the grey veins. Now I need a floor.

Tile is hard on your legs and back. I don't like the gray, it is dated. What is the flooring in the rest of the house? You should carry the flooring through if the kitchen is open to other areas.

Look further at LVT options that will warm the space up. Modern doesn't have to be stark, gloomy gray, and cold.

    Thank you

I have luxury vinyl plank throughout my first floor and love it. However, I would rethink your gray choice for floor. They don’t need to match your cabinets to look good. A choice that mimics the color of real wood will still work with your cabinets and give you the option down the road to mix up your color palette in the rest of the home. It is a huge investment, so don’t go so narrow.

I too think you shouldn't do the gray. You need something to warm up your space. And, there are lots of better places to shop for flooring than Floor and Decor.

I guess I should also comment on the choices you have. We are just completing a gut remodel. I have a tile that is very similar to the last one--white that is lightly gray veined--in two bathrooms and a lanai. It shows everything, and I would never want it throughout a space because of the maintenance. Throughout the rest of my space I have a high end LVP in a light wood tone. It is much more forgiving and easier to keep up.

I Agree one hundred percent. I’d go with a medium brown wood look.
See photos below and focus on the gray and wood combos

Can you tell me anything about the third floor pictured with the gray cabinets? Wood or laminate? I had been planning gray tile and white cabinets because the rest of my house is dark wood floor and it is too dark in my kitchen. This may blend to the other rooms if I could find something like it. After seeing this post I too am convinced I won’t be happy with all the gray and white.

@admiral8 the picture is luxury vinyl tile it's supposed to be waterproof. I looked at floor & decor. I know it's other places but I haven't had much time to hunt for floors. But actually this whole thing is stressing me out. I think I may like the wood look also. I'm so confused. I just don't want to make the wrong decision

That’s exactly where we are. We have a vinyl floor in our family room that looks great but we don’t like the “feel” of it. We brought home these yesterday just like you. I think I will go look at some of the vinyl/wood today!
