Here are my new Ethreal Glow for those of you trying to decide. The close up has reflections and shadows on it from lights but still gives you a good look at it.

Great photos! Love this counter. Its like a 5 week wait time to get after new cabinets are installed, does anyone have any expereince and tips on how to use kitchen during that time? LIke using plywood for a counter and install sink to be able to use. I thought we could save old sink or buy cheap sink to install to use with plywood on counter around while we wait the month plus to get counter. Although we plan on putting in a farm house apron style sink and the farm house sinks I was told has to be installed before the counter gets measured for the quartz. So we can always install new sink, use that and put plywood on counters? ANY other suggestions on how to do a DIY kitchen with Ease :) :)

I was going to go with calacatta gold but now torn between etheral glow and toscana cream. has anyone looked at other etheral slabs? maybe like the glow without the prominant brown lines?

The brown/gold was very prominent in the ethereal glow slab that I saw. I was looking for something more subtle which is why we went with calacatta gold. I ended up going to the silestone location in Dulles VA and it seemed they have everything to see in slabs including the entire ethereal collection. You have to see slabs in person to really make a decision IMO. We also really liked the Borghini gold but it was much more expensive bc we had several slabs. Hope that helps… it is an all consuming experience!!

@Keira P were you able to see actual slabs of the Ethreal Glow? We were lucky to be able to see both our slabs before purchase. That was the only way for me to truly make a decision. I know it is hard to tell from my above pics but my lines are more gold i think it also depends on your finishes, etc. My pendants are warm brass. Honestly you just need to go and look at them all in person even if that involves several different places. Sorry for this lengthly answer but i was in the same dilemma as you. Best of Luck!

I just had the Silestone Ethereal Glow counter tops installed in my kitchen. They are beautiful, I love them. Your kitchen came out beautiful with the Silestone counter tops.

I am looking at the Silestone Ethereal Indigo it is a home depot exclusive has anyone had expereince with home depot and installing your quartz? Also looking at Ethereal dusk, seems simular in blue veining and is not exculsive to home depot. Would love some advice in expereince with home depot install THANKS

My fabricator is working as I type. I am installing the Ethereal Glow for island and perimeter. White perimeter cabs, super dark navy island. Paint is SW Shoji White, gold hardware. Now looking for tile back splash. I want to bring some of the gold into the walls, but subtle.

Love your kitchen! Mine is Fairfax, VA, home is a complete remodel that we have been working on for a year.

would you mind telling me your backsplash selection? i am having white cabinets and etheral glow countertops. i I love the different shades of white

We are in the process of installing the Ethereal Gold and decided to go with a backsplash made of the same material. The kitchen is not quite finished yet but the backsplash looks fantastic.

@Andrea Ames - it with Bedrosian brand, Cloe style, in white. We love it! Pulls whites, grays, and tans together.

@Susan Kaul, I didn’t see your comment. We used Bedrosian tile, Cloe is the style and white is the color. It’s so perfect with the different shades!

Would the ethreal glow counter and backsplash look good with navy blue kitchen with brass finishing? how present is the gold vain in the slab?

@HU-737980060 I think it would look great with the navy cabinets with brass finishes. The gold is pretty minimal when looking at the slab as a whole. The veining in Ethereal is very thin.

@Allison Keppler-Bilden I will post some pics of my counters today. Sorry for the delay, I had not updated my email for notifications. My seam is wonderful, especially considering it is at a 90 Degree turn.

@HU-737980060 I love it with the navy. My island is navy and my perimeter is white. I am not too good with photos, but will post some this afternoon.

I recently renovated my Florida home as well. For the counters there I selected Cambria Portrush for the island, which is navy. It is a lot of loud movement, but it works well with that home. I love the gold flaking. It is much more bold gold than Silestone Ethereal Glow.

@Allison Keppler-Bilden Here is a photo of my seam. I took it towards the corner, so you can see how they did a good job at keeping consistent pattern. The seam runs from corner up to left in photo, maybe about 10 o'clock.

Does anyone know the savings with Silestone going with costco vs like home depot?

@tamradiane the Costco member receives a 10 dollar/ sq ft discount. Also, Costco offered 15% of the contract price in a Costco gift card. Our Home Depot and Costco both used the same quartz installer. You would need to compare the square foot price at each place to see which comes out better for you. Home Depot may have a lower per sq foot price but with the gift card the total cost was lower for us.

Grey tile suggestions to match Ethereal Glow countertop in ensuite reno? Cabinet is natural walnut. Also debating to use same tile in walkin shower or mix it up. Appreciate any advice.

We installed Ethereal glow in our kitchen today to go with walnut cabinets and the veinig is subtle and beautiful.

@bhushank Nicely done! Thanks for posting these! I still like some wood, even though white cabinets are clean. But was afraid that w/ the Ethreal glow‘s white background & white cabinets, it would be too steril for me. I have considered the two toned wood & white cabinets & i like the way you added a little color on your backsplash to help it not be so white. i was thinking about going up the backsplash w/ the quartz. I have the challege of having a peninsula instead if an island & a cedar cathederal ceiling in the next room. I like the tones of your cabinets & flooring that you used as well. I keep looking at ideas & I hope one day soon I can make a decision! Thanks again!

@shelleypaul, one option may be use painted cabinets with a gray-blue color. I found it goes pretty well with Ethereal Glow, like the backsplash i have. Making a mood board will help how the colors you choose look when put together.

@bhushank Thanks for the suggestion. You sound like you have experience in design. I have certainly seen some nice blue/gray kitchen options. Maybe because of the amount of wood we have, i usually hear the comment that my house tends towards warm colors. I dont think the grays/blues will work in my home unless maybe i paint the cathedral ceiling. I have considered some green options, but am not totally sold on that either & I dont know if I would get tired of it. I think I might need to find an interior designer to help me.

Excuse the mess on the countertops but this is mine. Even though the cabinets aren’t white thought it might help.

@shellypaul not much experience, still coming out of our first remodel where we were choosing all finishes, right from hinges and door stops to exterior colors and everything in between. Mood boards for colors were helpful. We put color chips from
Paint stores on a white paper and stare at it for days before feeling comfortable with our choices. You can get color chips close to the wood tones you have on that mood board.
Designer is definitely an option.

@shellypaul, the floors are holding up quite well. They are engineered wood with a reasonable thickness of real wood layer on top. Sorry i don’t remember the exact thickness.

No worries, the thickness is on the website you posted. I was just wondering if they held up to mopping or kitchen use. They are beautiful, but I want something I can clean easily.
