Personally, I would return both. Olives do not make good houseplants. Conditions are too hot, too dry and often too dark. A similar shaped tree, such as a Ficus benjamina, would be much more suitable. Furthermore, being alongside an AC unit is, sadly, not a good position for any plant. There are many criteria to consider when choosing a houseplant and appearance is only one of them.

As per your picture, all the items in your home about 3 foot height. If you place an indoor plant about 4 feet level ,it'll give much intimacy.

While selecting the indoor plants, it has to create an energy vibe into your home. You can choose palm indoor tree varieties to occupy the large space with greens.

Haha... I nearly facetiously suggested fake plants as being most likely to survive in that spot. Seems you got there first.

Definitely tall one. Once you have art on the walls, and maybe a tall lamp on the other side, it will look more balanced

Fake plants eventually just look like fake plants covered in dust.

Another vote for the taller one. A plant that size can be rinsed in the shower.

Definitely the tall one - I was like, What AC unit? And had to look hard to find it. Oh, and at least one more pup!!!
